T.D. Subash, Professor
He is a Professor and global academic leader with over 17 years of experience in engineering education, research governance, and technological innovation. His work focuses on academic quality assurance, outcomes-based education, and continuous improvement in higher education. Currently at Zhejiang Ocean University, China, he leads multidisciplinary research and teaching in photonics, nanoelectronics, and photovoltaics, while contributing to curriculum design, program evaluation, and industry-aligned education frameworks. He serves in several international leadership roles, including as an elected Member of the Board of Governors of the IEEE Photonics Society and Chair of the IEEE Greentronics Technical Committee. He has also founded multiple IEEE chapters and contributes to global education and research initiatives. He has published over 100 journal papers, delivered 100+ invited talks, and led numerous collaborative research projects.
